TÜV Rheinland Type Test Report

Blue light, reborn as red.

Our 9H Plexiglass screen protector doesn't just block blue light — it absorbs it and converts part of that energy into red light (600–700 nm), verified by TÜV Rheinland.

Blue Light Absorption

Of the absorbed energy is re-emitted as red light (600–700 nm).
The Physics

From harmful to helpful

Standard screen protectors reflect or block blue light. This one does something different — it absorbs blue photons and re-emits them at a longer, safer wavelength.

What TÜV measured

Using a luminance measurement device (LMD), TÜV captured the spectral raw data at the center of a standard blue light source — before and after lamination with our screen protector.
Two parameters were evaluated:
① Absorption Rate — how much of the integrated blue backlight intensity (400–500 nm) was absorbed.
② Conversion Efficiency — how much of that absorbed energy was re-emitted as red light in the 600–700 nm band.
Spectral Analysis

What the LMD actually saw

TÜV measured the spectral intensity of the standard blue light source before (blue curve) and after (red curve) the film was applied. Notice the dip in the 400–500 nm region and the rise in 600–700 nm.
